Our core values
1. Family
No one is a chart on the wall. When you come into our office, we want you to know you are appreciated, and we will never recommend anything we wouldn’t recommend to our own family members.
2. Journey mindset
Orthodontic treatment takes time, and we want you to know we are with you the entire way. If you have questions or get nervous at any point during the process, we have your back.
3. Efficiency
We understand your time is priceless. That’s why we ensure appointments are appropriately scheduled so you spend the majority of your time with our team, not our waiting room.

- What is your favorite kind of birthday cake? Dairy Queen cake is my favorite kind of birthday cake. I get the best of both worlds in one dessert! A very close second would be the “Better than anything cake”. Caramel, chocolate and toffee — need I say more?!
- Favorite place to vacation: My favorite place to vacation is somewhere hot with a beach and a pool so I can go between. I love to see the beauty of the ocean and the sound of the water and waves is so relaxing to me.

- What is your favorite kind of birthday cake? My favorite birthday cake would be carrot cake. I would have to save some for the next morning to have with my hot coffee!
- What is your favorite holiday? My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. I love the cooking the night before and being with family that I do not see a lot. I love Thanksgiving night: watching movies and looking at all of the Black Friday sale ads. I also love the 4 day weekend and…having leftover pie with coffee for breakfast.

- What is your favorite kind of birthday cake? I’m not a huge birthday cake girl. I do love Nothing Bundt Cakes, any flavor because they are so delicious. Or of course the DQ ice cream cakes are always good, YUM!!
- If you could vacation anywhere, where would it be? If I could vacation anywhere, it would definitely be somewhere tropical. I don’t care where, as long as the weather is good. I hate the cold!!! I don’t know how I was born & raised here in Fort Wayne, Indiana because I believe I belong on a beach next to some palm trees somewhere. LOL

Beyond the concert, the highlight of the night was a guy who proposed during the concert and even sang the last half of the song with the band.
- Do you play board games for fun or for “blood”? If I’m playing with my kids, it’s always for fun. But if it’s adult games, I’m out for blood! LOL

- Do you play board games for fun or for “blood”? I love a good game night with family or friends. I am not out for blood. I am there for fun, laughs, and making memories.
- Would you rather climb a mountain or fun a marathon? I have ran several 5Ks, 10Ks and even a couple of half marathons, but I would rather climb a mountain; especially since no one said how big the mountain had to be. I love hiking and scenic mountain views are always great.

- What is your biggest pet peeve? My biggest pet peeve is something that probably only bothers me and no one else, but it’s when I squeeze a lemon in my water and a seed falls in!! Nothing bothers me more than having to sit there and fish the seeds out with my straw. I will sit there and pick the seeds out before I squeeze my lemon in, but every once in a while one will sneak in.
- What’s your favorite kind of birthday cake? My favorite birthday cake is strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting or spice cake with cream cheese frosting!! I love the combination of the salty cream cheese frosting and the sweet cake flavors; they go together like PB&J. 🙂

- If you could vacation anywhere, where would it be? Italy: it’s my dream place to visit and maybe to even live there one day. The Italian culture is very beautiful, the food, drinks, music, and dancing. Two summers ago, I started to learn the basics of the Italian language, because I want to be trilingual. My boyfriend and I are currently planning a trip (don’t know when, but it will happen one day.)
- Favorite holiday: Christmas is my favorite holiday; it’s when family gets together and my family is BIG, so I get to see a lot of my family. Everyone is always in a good mood, we usually have music playing with some karaoke and dancing. PLUS, my mama makes her tamales and they’re the BEST in the world.

- Would you rather climb a mountain or run a marathon? I am an avid runner and it is not only a hobby but a stress release for me. When I was a teenager I went backpack hiking with our youth group to the Teton Mountains in Wyoming. It was one of the most fun vacations I have ever taken. The views and challenges we had each day are unexplainable. I also had the chance to climb Camelback Mountain in Arizona and it was quite a challenge; the heat and the sense of where do I put my hands and feet next was such a surprise. The views of God’s true beauty sure shined on both of these hikes. I would love to have a chance to climb another mountain and just take in the beauty and the challenge that it brings.
- What is your favorite holiday? My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. I am a big foodie and I love to eat. There is always a ton of dessert and that is my favorite part. I also get excited about the strange stuff like plain sweet potatoes, cranberry salad, oyster dressing, and actually everything. It is just the best holiday to enjoy the company of family!

- What’s your favorite kind of birthday cake? I am a huge sweets girl, however, I am not a huge traditional cake fan. So, my favorite non-traditional cake would be either a chocolate chip cookie cake with buttercream frosting or an ice cream cake with tons of chocolate candies, chocolate cookies, and a chocolate crust. As you can see, I love me some chocolate. Yum, yum, yum!!!
- Do you play board games for fun or for “blood”? Believe it or not, I am not competitive, so I play games just for fun. I enjoy nothing more than a game night with family and friends, hanging out, acting goofy, laughing and making memories. 🙂

- What’s your favorite kind of birthday cake? Actually, my favorite birthday dessert would be a blueberry pie made from scratch by my dear mama. I can smell it now; warm out of the oven with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. If it had to be a cake, then it would be an angel food cake (also made from scratch).
- Would you rather climb a mountain or run a marathon? I would rather “hike” a mountain; I think I’m beyond the point of being able to “climb”. Once you get to the top, you have the sense of accomplishment with a beautiful view as your reward.

- What was the first concert you attended? I attended my first concert with a friend in 1985. It was Motley Crue at the Coliseum in Fort Wayne. We were on the floor, standing-room only and got totally crushed with the mob of people trying to make our way to the front by the stage. I was a huge Vince Neil fan back then.
- Would you rather climb a mountain or run a marathon? I would rather climb a mountain than run a marathon, but it does depend on the size of the mountain. I have climbed Cameback in Arizona and Diamond Head in Oahu and I loved both of those. I wouldn’t want to climb a mountain in the snow, though. Also, I hate running. I ran in two 5Ks and after the second one my hip hurt for almost a year. I would rather walk a marathon than climb a mountain in the snow. 🙂

- Do you play board games for fun or for “blood”? Definitely blood. Aggravation is a game that we play frequently and I play for bragging rights as the Aggravation Queen. During a family get-together, we have tournaments with prize $$ for the winner. Although, I usually take bragging rights over the cash.

American Board of Orthodontics Certified
All orthodontists must be licensed to practice; however, board certification is a voluntary achievement that not all orthodontists choose to pursue. In order to become board certified by the ABO, an individual orthodontist is thoroughly interviewed by a highly respected panel of examiners to demonstrate his or her orthodontic knowledge, clinical skills, and judgment.
The ABO certification process signifies a unique achievement: a significant step beyond the two to three years of advanced education required for a dentist to become a specialist in orthodontics. The process requires the orthodontist to demonstrate actual accomplishments in patient care with detailed case reports on the treatment provided for a broad range of patient problems.
