Talisha is celebrating 28 YEARS with OSS!

Orthodontic Specialty Services - Dr. Aron Dellinger - Meet the Team

Talisha started her career with OSS in 1991 as a clinic tech with Dr. Gene. She was trained by Whendy; who also recently celebrated an OSS anniversary! Talisha went to college for Secretarial Administration, and before starting in the dental field she worked for a book binding company in North Manchester as a Data Entry Clerk. She then transitioned to the world of dentistry in 1988 and worked for a general dentist. She loved orthodontics and she knew she wanted to work for an orthodontic specialist when she moved to the Fort Wayne area…that’s when she joined our team. [Interesting fact about Talisha: after being on the team for so many years, she finally decided to have orthodontic treatment for herself.  She recently got her braces off, so be sure to ask to see her beautiful smile the next time you’re in the office.]

Talisha still works in the clinic, but her primary job is at the front desk and she also serves as our Front Desk Team Leader. She works a majority of the time at our Dupont Road office, but you will see her smiling face on occasion at our Warsaw office. Another important job title Talisha holds is our Purchasing Assistant. She unpacks the crazy amount of boxes that arrive each day and then packs supplies from our “wish lists” to keep the offices stocked and running smoothly for day-to-day operations.

Talisha is a wife, a mom to two grown children and a dog mom to her Shih Tzu, Zoey. She enjoys exercising [You’d be impressed with how fast her short legs move! HA! Her walking pace is basically a fast jog!]. She also enjoys vacationing anywhere warm. She’s one of our team members who has a heater on underneath the counter ALL. YEAR. LONG.

Talisha is kind and compassionate and instead of saying “you’re welcome”, she says “my pleasure”. You can be assured that she is speaking from her heart and it truly is her pleasure to assist our patients, parents and her teammates in any way she can. This is transparent in all aspects in her life, and we are so blessed to have her as part of our team! Congrats on celebrating 28 YEARS with OSS, T!
