Today we are celebrating Laurie’s 6th anniversary with OSS!
Laurie joined our team as our Marketing Coordinator in 2014. She has since transitioned into our Marketing Team Leader and one of our Treatment Coordinators. Those roles require her to juggle many balls in the air at once! As our Marketing Team Leader her main duties include: visiting general dentist offices, taking sponsorship and donations requests, ordering marketing supplies and organizing future marketing projects. As a Treatment Coordinator she is responsible for being Dr. Aron’s translator! HA! She works closely with new patients and explains Dr. Aron’s treatment plan that will inspire a genuine OSS smile! That job is a big one because Dr. Aron meticulously and uniquely creates a treatment plan to meet each individual patient’s needs.
Laurie was raised on a farm east of New Haven. [Fun fact: She started driving a truck and tractor at the age of ELEVEN! She questions what her dad was thinking! HA!] Laurie still takes care of the bookkeeping and she continues to drive a combine when she has free time.
Laurie is a wife and mom to three grown sons and she just welcomed her first grandbaby to the family.
We can’t forget her cute shih tzu, Molly. [She actually shares custody of Molly with a friend. The next time you see her be sure to ask her how that situation works!]
Laurie is such a fun team member, has a contagious laugh, and we are all envious of her perfect hair! She’s genuine, caring and down to earth. We know if you’ve met her then you love her too! Thank you, Laurie, for all you do and congrats on celebrating 6 YEARS with OSS!
