Rewards Hub FAQ’s

By March 17, 2021No Comments

One of the fun things we offer our patients is access to Rewards Hub. Patients are able to earn points at regular appointments and those points can be cashed in for gift cards. We thought it would be helpful to create a post that includes FAQ’s from our patients and parents.

1. How do I earn points?

There are a lot of ways to earn points. Arriving on time to your appointment, wearing your rubber bands as instructed, no breakage, good brushing, bringing your Rewards Card, getting A’s on your report card (just bring your report card to your appointment) and wearing your OSS t-shirt to your appointments are just a few examples. You can find an entire list of point values here.

The fastest way to earn points is by referring friends or family members. You will earn up to 250 points for each new patient you refer!

2. What do the points do?

Every 50 points equals a $5 gift card. Points are limitless, so you can cash in every 50 points or save up until the end of your treatment.

3. What’s the average number of points I can earn at each appointment?

With good brushing, being on time, having nothing loose/broken, wearing your OSS t-shirt (which you receive when you get your braces) and bringing your Rewards Card to your appointment you will receive 13 points at each regular appointment. More points can be earned depending on the type of appointment.

4. What gift cards are available?

A few include: Starbucks, Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, Gamestop, iTunes, Macy’s, P.F. Changs, Applebee’s, McDonald’s, Chilis, and many more! All options can be found on the Rewards Hub site.

5. How do I login or access my points?

All you have to do is go to our website, scroll to the bottom and click on the picture of the Rewards Card.

You will then be prompted to login to the Rewards Hub site to access your points.

One of the common mishaps when trying to log into Rewards Hub is clicking on the “patient login” on the right-hand sidebar of our website. That particular “patient login” is used for your OSS account.

You can also download the Rewards Hub app using Google Play or the App Store on your phone and/or tablet.

6. How do I redeem my points for gift cards?

You will need to login to your Rewards Hub account (see question #5) when you’re ready to cash in your points for gift cards. We do not keep the gift cards in our office.  If you are just a few points short of being able to redeem for a larger gift card, you can use a credit card to buy the extra points needed.

7. What if I lose my Rewards Card?

Just let us know that you’ve lost your card. We can replace it for you, but 5 points are deducted from your account when a new card is activated. All of your previous points will transfer to the new card.

8. What if I’ve forgotten my password?

We are unable to retrieve or change your password. You will need to contact Rewards Hub at 1-800-560-1469.

9. Do I get extra points for getting my teeth cleaned at my dentist?

Yes! All you have to do is take this form to your dentist, have it completed by your dentist or hygienist and then bring the form with you to your next regular appointment at our office. We cannot add points without the form. When you turn-in your form, your dentist/hygienist will be entered in a quarterly drawing and if they win, you’ll be their favorite patient.

10. Do I get points at emergency appointments?

Points are only awarded at regularly scheduled appointments. No points are given at emergency appointments or additional appointments that are required due to an emergency. (Emergency appointments are for pokey wires, lost retainers, loose brackets, etc.).

We hope this list helps with any questions you may have. Please feel free to leave a comment below if you have a question and don’t see the answer here.
